You’ve got to love the smile on your clients face when you save them more than they bargained for on their brand new car-this along with a great deal on finance.

An SME client put a deposit on a new car and we were ready to fund it when our Business Development Manager suggested we get him a price through our vehicle purchasing service. The outcome was a $4,000 saving on the price the customer had previously received. The customer was very happy with the price achieved and signed the order immediately. Funding for the vehicle was completed and the customer took delivery of his vehicle.

Team members from our Sales and Equipment Finance department worked collaboratively after receiving a request on a Wednesday afternoon to fund some new equipment for a client with a settlement deadline of Thursday.  Our credit team urgently processed the application and the documentation team prepared the contracts.  Our Business Development Manager drove to meet the client at 9pm on Wednesday to sign the documents.  The all-important equipment was delivered on Thursday evening and was out earning income for our satisfied client on Friday morning.

A supplier of Solar Panels for Commercial properties required a financier who could provide point of sale finance that allowed their representatives to complete the sale in one simple process.

SME Finance Group introduced to the supplier a program with an efficient matrix finance approval process that enabled credit approvals within hours. This was supported by simple documentation that is easy for the customer to understand and a settlement process that had the sale proceeds in the supplier’s bank account on the day of installation.

The supplier quickly gained confidence in the program that it would deliver an outcome to their customers without any disruptions to their business.  This has resulted in the sale of panels and finance to over 300 new customers.

An inner suburban accounting firm wanted to expand their business by opening a new office and diversify their service offering.  Funds were required to complete an office fit out and to recruit staff.

Instead of utilising funds from the existing business placing a strain on cash flow the customer contacted SME Finance Group who were able to arrange the funding without the need for additional collateral as security.

The transaction was completed with the funder using new technology to evaluate the financial position of the business.  This negated the need for the customer to provide financial statements and other documentation which can often result in delays in the process.

The customer had the funds available for use within 48 hours allowing them to fast track the opening of their new office.

SME Finance Group have recently arranged funding for a customer on a luxury apartment at one of Victoria’s leading resorts. The transaction involved a leasehold property as is typical in this location. Many banks and financiers will not fund this type of property, but SME Finance Group were able to arrange funding at an LVR of 80% at a very competitive interest rate. This compared favourably to a much lower LVR offered to the customer by an alternative financier.

With new developments underway in the alpine region you may be in the market for this type of investment. Contact SME Finance Group on (03) 8825 8888 to access the best funding for this type of property.

A new client referred to SME Finance Group required funding for a retail investment property.  The client’s broker had been given a mandate to fund the property three months earlier but had been unable to secure a facility.

The client was a retiree who had an additional income stream from investment properties.  Within two weeks SME Finance Group had a facility approved under a low doc loan process with an extremely competitive interest rate.  The customer proceeded with the transaction to settlement and will ask SME Finance Group to assist him with future opportunities.

A property developer/investor had committed a majority of his funding with a leading 2nd tier bank.  The client had a property with an old dwelling he wanted to demolish and develop apartments.  His bank would not commit to the project, so the client turned to SME Finance Group to provide the funding.  SME took a holistic approach to the customers portfolio resulting in three properties being financed releasing a property which could be used as support to the apartment development.  All of this was completed while achieving reductions in interest costs.  This approach allowed the development to be completed to the client’s satisfaction.

SME Finance Group was approached by a consortium of successful business people who were in the market to purchase a luxury motor yacht. The objective was to purchase a vessel which would have appeal to the corporate charter market. The motor yacht was selected from an international supplier based in the United States. SME Finance Group arranged a competitively priced facility to assist with the purchase and assisted with the valuation, security registration and delivery of the vessel. Through a coordinated approach settlement was completed on time with the vessel available for charter immediately upon its arrival.

A new client referred to SME Finance Group had decided to purchase a luxury vehicle as reward for some recent success he had achieved in his business. He enquired about finance through the dealer and several other sources only to be told as this was his first prestige acquisition he would be required to provide a significant deposit to the transaction.

He met with an SME Finance Group representative who explained to him that by leveraging our experience in funding prestige assets SME would obtain an approval for the cost price of the vehicle.  The client provided his financial details and within 24 hours an approval for funding was achieved.

The transaction proceeded to settlement and the client picked up his vehicle on a Friday evening in time for an enjoyable weekend.
