You’ve got to love the smile on your clients face when you save them more than they bargained for on their brand new car-this along with a great deal on finance.

An SME client put a deposit on a new car and we were ready to fund it when our Business Development Manager suggested we get him a price through our vehicle purchasing service. The outcome was a $4,000 saving on the price the customer had previously received. The customer was very happy with the price achieved and signed the order immediately. Funding for the vehicle was completed and the customer took delivery of his vehicle. 

Team members from our Sales and Equipment Finance department worked collaboratively after receiving a request on a Wednesday afternoon to fund some new equipment for a client with a settlement deadline of Thursday.  Our credit team urgently processed the application and the documentation team prepared the contracts.  Our Business Development Manager drove to meet the client at 9pm on Wednesday to sign the documents.  The all-important equipment was delivered on Thursday evening and was out earning income for our satisfied client on Friday morning.

A supplier of Solar Panels for Commercial properties required a financier who could provide point of sale finance that allowed their representatives to complete the sale in one simple process. 

SME Finance Group introduced to the supplier a program with an efficient matrix finance approval process that enabled credit approvals within hours. This was supported by simple documentation that is easy for the customer to understand and a settlement process that had the sale proceeds in the supplier’s bank account on the day of installation.

The transaction involved a leasehold property as is typical in this location. A new client referred to SME Finance Group required funding for a retail investment property.  The client’s broker had been given a mandate to fund the property three months earlier but had been unable to secure a facility.

The client was a retiree who had an additional income stream from investment properties.  Within two weeks SME Finance Group had a facility approved under a low doc loan process with an extremely competitive interest rate.  The customer proceeded with the transaction to settlement and will ask SME Finance Group to assist him with future opportunities.

A property developer/investor had committed a majority of his funding with a leading 2nd tier bank.  The client had a property with an old dwelling he wanted to demolish and develop apartments.  His bank would not commit to the project, so the client turned to SME Finance Group to provide the funding.  SME took a holistic approach to the customers portfolio resulting in three properties being financed releasing a property which could be used as support to the apartment development.  All of this was completed while achieving reductions in interest costs.  This approach allowed the development to be completed to the client’s satisfaction.

The objective was to purchase a vessel which would have appeal to the corporate charter market. The motor yacht was selected from an international supplier based in the United States.
